This time of year going from “here” to “there” with a to-do list a million miles long seems to be the norm. Some days it feels as if you don’t even have two spare minutes to check your Facebook or stop and grab a (much needed) Starbucks! Being ready for any and all situations is a luxury we can’t afford not to have. So today we are taking you from office to party with just a few simple wardrobe hacks!
Both of the looks we put together include a few small details that can be swapped out to accomodate any occasion! I opted for a more casual bottom and shoe during the day and switched it out for this black feathered skirt and statement blue heels for all of our evening adventures. Having a few items in the car, I swear I live out of that thing, can make all the difference and save you so much time! If by doing so I get to spend an extra 20 min in the morning catching up on my zzz’s, count me in!
Kristin got ready for a bit of window shopping, before heading out to our party, by adding a statement necklace, a pair of cute detailed boots, and of course some red lipstick to her outfit! Just like that we were off and ready for the evening ahead! Being prepared is really the main message here. This is not one of my strong suits, however when it saves you from having to go home and change in between events, it is totally worth it!
We hope these tips help save you some much needed time that could be better spent with family and friends or doing some Christmas shopping (for yourself or others 😉 )! We would also like to thank our local jewelry store Wharram’s Jewelry for providing us with the ultimate window shopping experience! Happy shopping, happy partying, and happy doing whatever else your Christmas Spirit desires, for me that’s enjoying an eggnog or two! 🙂
Sincerely, your friends,
Katie & Kristin
